北京时间5月27日凌晨，STEPN在其官方社交媒体上发布《关于清退中国大陆账户的公告》，称将对软件用户进行清查，若发现中国大陆地区用户，则将依据使用条款对其账户于2022年7月15日（UTC+8）24:00 停止提供GPS及IP位置服务。

! _' B( d/ S; ]去年9月24日，中国人民银行发布《关于进一步防范和处置虚拟货币交易炒作风险的通知》，再次重申虚拟货币相关业务活动属于非法金融活动。其中，境外虚拟货币交易所通过互联网向我国境内居民提供服务同样属于非法金融活动，对于相关境外虚拟货币交易所的境内工作人员，以及明知或应知其从事虚拟货币相关业务，仍为其提供营销宣传、支付结算、技术支持等服务的法人、非法人组织和自然人，依法追究有关责任。

在此次《通知》发布后，一些加密货币交易平台接连宣布清退中国大陆地区用户。其中，币安C2C 去年12月31日24时下架CNY交易区，同时将对平台用户进行清查，若平台发现中国大陆地区用户，则其对应账户将切换至“只允许提现”模式，用户将只能进行提现、撤单、赎回、平仓操作。 4 X2 ~ B. @( B7 g4 s3 g+ i6 y
