不少内地网友得知梁朝伟饰演「满大人」这个角色后反应激烈，批评他辱华，即使有人认为漫画设定中，上气最终与父亲决裂，并消灭了他，可以理解为随著天朝的繁华强大，天朝最终靠自己将西方偏见消灭，但许多网民仍执著于漫威使用这个人物打入天朝市场却不懂避嫌。「满大人」該角色出現前後，恰逢滿清ZF滅亡，英國倫敦一起謀殺案也被認為與當地華人黑幫有牽連，再加上一些歷史原因，西方對華人的恐慌衍生出歧視性的「黃禍」一詞，这也是为什么天朝人会对影帝梁朝伟饰演「满大人」气得急跳脚的原因。预估他的戏份将会相当吃重呢！
