从省体育局群体处了解，在“十一五”期间，按省委、省ZF“广泛开展农村体育活动, 建设社会主义新农村”的要求，福建省体育局投资3亿元体彩公益金，建设福建省农民健身工程，解决广大农村体育设施缺乏，为农村开展体育健身活动创造了条件、提供了平台，深受广大农民群众的好评。, r( |3 I: `5 K2 Q8 j3 q% b6 v

据悉，农村蓬勃开展的全民健身活动得益于省委省ZF的惠民政策。为加强和改善农村体育设施，解决农村体育场地设施严重不足问题，从2006年-2010年五年间，省体育局用体育彩票公益金共投资3亿元，带动地方社会资金，在全省9152个行政村建成“农民体育健身工程”，超额完成省委省ZF在“十一五”规划中要求全省60%行政村建成农民体育健身工程的任务。) \- w: K3 k' D( b
* @; ]" [: S+ X2 E: `4 p$ O: Z6 Q 同时，省体育局还利用体彩公益金在全省137个乡镇试点建设农民体育健身工程，今年省ZF投入资金，完成全省乡镇青少年校外体育活动场所的建设任务，使农村体育场地设施不足的状况得到改善，切实解决广大农村体育设施缺乏，难以开展体育活动的问题，形成以乡镇农民体育健身中心为主,幅射周边行政村的社会主义新农村体育设施网络，促进福建省农村公共文化体育建设更上个新的台阶，受到农民朋友的普遍欢迎，为农村开展体育健身活动创造了条件、提供了平台。! P$ Q e% v" H& E) T+ e

在村村建有篮球场等体育健身设施的前提下，农民在家门口就能举行一系列体育健身活动，不仅能锻炼身体，而且能娱乐身心，提倡了健康文明的生活方式，充分体现了“场地建在群众身边，组织建在群众身边，活动开展在群众身边”的“三边”宗旨，为丰富福建省全民健身系列活动增添了亮点和活力。* \: S* E0 A& |
