比推消息，据《纽约时报》报道，在当前美以与伊朗冲突期间，沙特王储 Mohammed bin Salman 多次与美国总统 Donald Trump 通话，并私下敦促美方继续对伊朗实施强硬打击。这一立场被认为延续了已故沙特国王 King Abdullah of Saudi Arabia 曾提出的对伊斩断蛇头策略。
不过在公开层面，海湾国家整体仍保持谨慎姿态。Mohammed bin Salman 近日与阿联酋总统 Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan 会谈时表示，伊朗对 Gulf Cooperation Council 国家发动的袭击是地区安全面临的严重威胁，但海合会国家将以维护地区稳定为优先。
