比推消息， Vitalik Buterin 发文表示，自己相比过去“明显更倾向于支持原生 Rollup（native rollups）”。Vitalik 回顾称，此前反对原生 Rollup 的重要原因在于，其预编译方案必须在 ZK 模式或 Optimistic 模式之间二选一，而当时 ZK-EVM 尚不成熟，L2 在“快速提款但自担证明风险”与“依赖以太坊安全但需等待 2–7 天提款”之间，往往会选择后者，从而削弱以太坊的可组合性，并推动多签桥等方案的普及。
Vitalik 指出，目前情况正在发生变化：以太坊在 L1 层面全面接纳 ZK 的时间表，与引入原生 Rollup 预编译的现实进度正在逐渐对齐，上述核心障碍有望被消除。他同时提到，社区正在更多地将“同步可组合性”作为 L2 的核心价值之一，并探索将基于 Rollup 的方案与低延迟预确认机制相结合。
此外，Vitalik 强调，在具体实现上不应草率推进原生 Rollup 预编译设计。他提出，希望未来具备这样一种属性：如果开发者构建的是“EVM 加少量扩展功能”的 Rollup，可以直接复用原生 Rollup 预编译中的 EVM 部分，并仅针对新增功能引入自定义证明系统，通过标准化方式将两者衔接起来。
