暴富后，普兰斯和妻子吉莉恩把他俩位于威尔士首府加的夫的一套三卧室住房送给19岁女儿莎拉，并为两个儿子还清住房抵押贷款。普兰斯辞去自己在铁路企业Arriva Trains的火车司机工作，在“福地”波斯考尔海边度假点买下一处价格6.4万英镑（12.16万美元）的活动住房，实现儿时梦想。同时，他开始出国度假旅行。
